Babineaux The Owlcat

Babineaux The Owlcat

"The owlcat is a fun hybrid mythical creature. This pattern for Babineaux the Owlcat will have you saying “Cacaw! Rawr!” while you crochet his cute amigurumi face. Unlike a gryphon, an owl cat has the face of an owl, feathers, and wings, but all four feet are paws and they don the classic cat ears. This particular owlcat also has a more cat-like entitled attitude, and Babineaux (say “Bab-in-oh”) has all the swagger too. I knew that I wanted to put a big mane and clunky feet on this guy, but I think he also captures the grace of a house cat and the wisdom of an owl."
