- 4 oz B (I used Caron Simply Soft, a light worsted weight)
Pattern
With A ch 96.
Body
- Turn, ch 1, sc, yo, insert in sc, yo, insert next, yo, pull through all, *ch 1, yo, insert in last stitch, yo, sk 1, insert in next stitch, yo, pull through all, ch 1* across
- Ch 1, turn, yo insert in 1st stitch, yo, insert in picot (ch 1 to close) of 1st stitch below, yo, pull through all, ch 1, *yo, insert in picot of last stitch, yo, insert in picot of next stitch, yo, pull through all, ch 1* across
- Repeat row 2 for a total of 59 rows
- Turn, ch 1, sc around with 3sc in each corner, finish off
- Attach B mid row, (row 1) sc, *sk 4, ch 5, sc* to corner, at corner skip the middle stitch and continue the next side around
- Ch 1, sc into ch 5 space, *9dc into next ch 5, ch 1, sc in next ch 5 space, ch 1* across to corner, at corner do 10 dc, ch 1 in corner ch 5 then continue as before
- Attach A, Ch 4, tr in sc, tr in same, ch 3,* sk 2 ch 1 spaces and dc, ch 3 in next ch 1 space, sk ch 1 space, dc, ch 3 in next ch 1 space, sk 2 ch 1 spaces, 2 tr, ch 3 I next* around to corner, after 1st dc sk 3 spaces and ch 10, dc, ch 3 and continue as before
- Ch 1 sc, ch 5, *puff (yo, insert, yo, insert, yo, insert, yo, pull through all) in ch 3 sp at top of shell, ch 3, puff in same sp, ch 5, sc between tr of row row below, ch 5* to corner do the 2 puffs with ch 3 between them , then ch 5 sc in same space, ch 5, puff, ch 3, puff in same sp, continue as before
- Attach B, ch 1, *sc in ch 5 sp, ch 5 over puffs sc in next ch 5 sp, ch 5, sc in next ch 5 sp*, continue to corner ch 8 over 1st puffs, sc in ch 5 sp, ch 5, sc in ch 5 sp, ch 8 over 2nd puffs, sc next ch 5 sp
- Ch 3, dc 7,ch 1 in ch 5 sp over puffs,* sc in ch 5 sp, 8 dc, ch 1 in next ch 5 sp over next puffs*, continue around, including in corner
- Attach A, repeat row 3 except in corners, after dc, ch 5, 2 tr in sc in middle of corner, ch 5 and continue
- Repeat row 4 except in corners, from last puffs, ch 5, sc in ch 5 sp before tr in row below, ch 5, puff, ch 3, puff, ch 5 in middle, continue as before
- Attach B, repeat row 3 except instead of ch 1 between ea dc, do picot on 1st 7 dc and ch 1 on 8th around
