My Dolphin Blanket with Hoodie

"My Dolphin Blanket is another one that was completed in my Animal Series of Blankets (check out my blog for some cute animal Blankets). This blanket was made specifically for a girl, that's a tween. It measures 39" wide and 50" from top of the hoodie to the bottom. I used Bernat Blanket Yarn in Country Blue. It has a button at the neck to wear as a cape. The side fins can be used as gloves. And, of course, it folds up, slips under the hoodie and becomes a pillow. I love, love versatility!!!!"

NotesThis was a commissioned project for a little girl who got the opportunity to swim with dolphins last summer while traveling western Caribbean. Her sister wanted a memorable birthday gift to give her this month for her birthday. I think blankets like this leave a lasting impression in a child's heart and they will cherish it.
