Calligraphy Square

Calligraphy Square

"This corner to corner 25 x 25 block Calligraphy square celebrates World Calligraphy Day. It looks fabulous when worked up and is such a fun one to make! Pattern includes chart, written and colour block instructions. There is so much you can make with a corner to corner square, for example: blanket square tote bag (sew two together and add some straps) afghan / blanket wall hanging throw pillow table runner placemats What would you make with yours? For my version it was part of my Kinship Blanket CAL and I made it using the HDC C2C method. It turned out to be approximately 12" x 12" but if you used DC it would be big enough for a pillow panel at approximately 16" square (depending on your tension). "

Crochet HookH/8 or 5 mm hook

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

Crochet Gaugenot important for this project as long as your tension is consistent.
