"The Ara Blanket Square starts as a circle and then transitions into a star, which then changes to a square. Make one for a sampler blanket or make a bunch of them and create your own beautiful constellation. The Ara blanket square uses worsted weight yarn and would shine bright in any number of beautiful colors. Finished Sizes: 9″ square Yarn: #4 worsted weight – approx 1.25 oz. Sample used Brava Worsted in Heather Crochet Hook: Size I/9 (5.50 mm) Notions: Yarn Needle Gauge: Rounds 1 – 3 (star) = 3 ½” across Difficulty: Advanced Beginner: Worked in the round, as well as changes from a circle to a square. Notes: Square begins as a circle and then, by working different height stitches, you change the circle to a square. Total square should be 8 ½” across; sample was blocked to 9”."

Crochet HookI/9 or 5.5 mm hook
