Ruby Red Butterfly

A beautiful Ruby Red Butterfly like this one can make the perfect embellishment for just about anything. This crochet design is multifunctional and can be attached to a headband, a hair tie, placed on top a gift package, tied to a wine bottle, used as fairy wings for a doll and so much more. This crocheted butterfly is worked up in the picot stitch, and with just a few more picots you can create a completely different butterfly each time. Keep in mind this pattern uses British terminology, so be sure you read the full pattern before getting started.
