No-Calorie Ice Cream Cone

By: Mellissa Black from wondermommy.wordpress.com

The No-Calorie Ice Cream Cone will soon be your favorite way to indulge your sweet tooth. It may not take away all of your ice cream cravings, but this free crochet pattern is a perfect way to honor your love of ice cream. Light brown yarn is used for the cone and any color can be used for the actual ice cream scoop, depending on what flavor you crochet. The ice cream and cone are crocheted separately and joined together at the end. If you want, add some jingle bells inside the ice cream scoop. Because they are made out of yarn, you can treat yourself to as many ice cream cones as you want!

No calorie and ice cream in the same sentence would be a dream come true if you could actually eat that ice cream! These are cute. From the rainbow sherbet to the all favorite vanilla you can not go wrong making a couple of these to add to the pretend play bin.

You have to love no calorie ice cream. For that special little girl in your life wouldn't you love to give her a couple of these to add to her kitchen play set? I had not thought about adding jingle bells. That may annoy the parents but I think it would be a delight for the kids.

This is adorable. I can see a bunch of them done in my grand kids favorite ice cream flavors. And one for their mom who is on a diet and says she misses ice cream. She would love this. Adding jingle bells in side for the kids will bring giggles and fun.

The minute I saw this I thought of a rattle. You could put a crinkle sack in the cone base and wrap it in batting. Then the top part a little rattle. Maybe a small Easter egg with rice or popcorn kernel. I personally would crochet it in cotton! What a dealing gift. Place it on top of the package for the extra bling.
