My girls saw this and fell in love with it. Now looks like I will be making at least two of them and maybe more when their friends see it. Looks like quite the challenge for me, but the instructions are very well explained so I see no problems.

You know this Rosaline Kimono Tunic would look great on mom or aunt, even grandma. If I were to make this for a millennial, I would probably extend the length up to the thigh area to give it a modern touch. Depending on your color prefence, you may change the color probably into a multicolored yarn, or another more vibrant color. Cheers!

This kimono tunic looks like it can help "hide" curves that you would like not to be seen without looking slouchy. The color the designer used is a little too bold for me but I can see me in a nice neutral color. Thanks you for your free pattern.

This tunic is amazing! I love the variety of textures in it! Broomstick lace is brand new to me so I'm glad this pattern doesn't have any shaping or forming to do. There are sooo many beautiful colors to choose from that that could very well be the most difficult part of this project!

I have been crocheting for about 40 years and I have yet to try broomstick lace. I have always found it intimidating. This pattern is well explained, and includes a video tutorial of the stitch used. The top is very pretty. I may just have to push myself and give it a try.

My kids are all into anything Japanese now with the popularity of all the anime that they are currently in to. My girls saw this and fell in love with it. Now looks like I will be making at least two of them and maybe more when their friends see it. Looks like quite the challenge for me, but the instructions are very well explained so I see no problems.

This Rosaline Kimono Tunic is absolutely gorgeous. I love that it can be worn all year long. Typically when a garment is constructed of yarn it usually means that it is designed for cool or cold weather. I have never worked with silk yarn which may be the factor in allowing this to be all seasonal.

Great one piece tunic and very easy to make. I like end result as is. Common design, but beautifully done.

I love one piece garments with a minimum of seams and shaping. Looking at the intricate design, my first thought is that this would be way too hard for me. However, reading through the pattern I see it is set out in a very comprehensive style and there is video support to help with some of the trickier bits. My only advice here, for anyone attempting this lovely garment, would be to use the recommended yarn, or at least something of a very good quality to be sure of ending up with the correct drape of the finished fabric.

Wow I just love this Rosaline Kimono Tunic! The pattern is very interesting and the video is a great help to do the drop stitch single crochet. I love the broomstick lace pattern and this is so much like it with a little twist. This pattern is well written and I can't wait to try it. I think Kim does a great job explaining her patterns, and I love recreating them. Thank you so much for this free pattern!
