Such a great idea to couple a halter top with a shawl and the patterns for both are really lovely too. Teenage daughter has already selected her color and her best friend will probably do the same, lol. With winter almost here in South Africa my immediate projects are things like afghans, scarves and cowls but I have already put this on my spring list of Things To Crochet.

I have been looking for a pattern like this for years. This crocheted Halter Top pattern is so well written it will come out nice and quickly. The print tab worked too. I love the color and hope to find the Patons cotton yarn or find one to replace it with. I'm not one to order yarn online, I like to feel and see it first hand before I buy. I will be making a few of these in different colors. Thank you for this free pattern.

I have been trying to get these colors and have had no luck with any brand. Since I couldn't find the Patons anywhere, I have tried all the brands in cotton yarn and none seem to have even similar colors. Would love to make it in the colors stated as it looks beautiful in the color combination.

@krjerr 4317395 - The skill level listed is merely a guideline, so some of the "intermediate" patterns may be easier than others. I would suggest looking through some of the intermediate patterns to determine whether they're worth trying out. -The Editors of AllFreeCrochet

It seems like everything that's neat is for intermediate, I'm in between beginner and intrmediate. What can I do?
