What a pretty shrug. I really like that you don't have to seam it. The all one piece idea is much smoother and neater looking. I read the directions and they are very well written and easy to follow. There are hints and tips along the way to help you too.

Actually, this seems like a great shrug to wear over a tunic in the fall when the weather finally turns cool! The grape-y color is such a classic fall color that will probably coordinate with your lip color and nails, too! -) I so appreciate her options for making it up to an XXL by giving us two different options. Also, just as important, she gives us a quick stitch count check after each row! How cool is that! I am the person that was written for, for sure. VERY helpful!!

I made this shrug this afternoon so I would have something I could put on when our air conditioner made it a bit too cool for my liking. It only took a few hours to make, and the pattern was easy to follow. I was hoping for mid length sleeves but have full length ones instead. If you are wanting shorter sleeves, you will want to omit some of the rows worked in the round on each side. It truly is a seamless pattern. It is worked in one piece, with the border crocheted around afterward.

No seam. I like the way that sounds. A great accessory piece to wear over a strapless or revealing dress if you are a little more modest. Looks like a very easy project. The half sleeves allows it to be worn in a variety of temperatures and or seasons of the year. Would look great over a tee with a pair of jeans for a casual look.
