I love wearing slippers or socks year round because the air conditioning makes my feet feel chilly all of the time. These are no fail slippers and make up so quickly. The only thing that I would improve upon and it is for safety only is to put a nonstick bottom on them to prevent falls on hard floors.

What a sweet pattern we have here! I have never tried my hand at house slippers but this may be the one. The texture looks soft and airy, yet warm. There is a new stitch for me to learn, but the directions seem to be written well! Thanks for the free pattern!

Oh grandma! What warm slippers you have! These simple slippers are adorable. They look so cute on your feet. The pattern is very easy to read and the directions are very simple and easy to follow. This is a project that can be finished in no time. I think I will make up a few extra for a local assisted living home that is near me.

I started making these slippers and everything was easy until I got to Row 7. It says "Ch 2, hdc BLO around" What in the world does BLO mean? Then in the directions to make the ankle opening, Row 2 says "Ch 2, turn, hdc FLO" Don't know what FLO means either. I have search the web for help but thee is no definition of the initials. Can you help?

BLO = Back loop, FLO = Front loop. I hope that helps!

Thank you VintageBerry, yes, it does help a lot! )

This is the easiest slipper pattern I have ever seen. I made up a pair in an hour. I want to make them in different colors and then add decorations. Bows on the toes, I can see a red pair with green trim and tiny Christmas bells. There are so many different ways to dress them up.

I tried several times to get the pattern and got the message that the site was risky. I waited and tried again and got through, then it went to the message that the site is risky.

My Grandmother used to make these , just not as Fancy plain single double stitched . Very cool thing to make for the kids , you can measure their feet by tracing them on a piece of Paper .

the link for womens sizing took me to some kind of advertising, other links took me to Kelly blue book. It's a "free" pattern but it's sketchy at best.

I didn't have any problem with the link using ,yiPad. Went right to it.

Can't get it work ANY way here. Link is broken. Too bad because these are exactly what I have been looking for.

If you can't get the pattern any other way, use PrtScr button on your keyboard and copy it into Word, a page at a time. Cropping and resizing as necessary. Fiddly but it is better than nothing.

same here- cannot get the pattern- any ideas?

didn't work

The link is broken all I get is a message that the server is not found.

said site was risky. can that be corrected

I have been crocheting some simple slippers, but these have some great stitching involved, so will be making some soon ( as soon as I finish the slippers I am making...:) For those that are having problems getting it, this may help. Just copy and paste hopefully it will help those needing it to get through. http://www.knotyournanascrochet.com/2013/03/womens-slippers.html

that didn't work either- really wanted this pattern too

Every time I try to click on the link my anti-virus pops up and tells me it is an unsafe site, so be careful. I tried it a couple times with the same result.

Can not open the link....please help. Really love the look of this slipper.

I had no problems opening the Pattern, it went right to it. THANK YOU!

super for my mum who has very swollen feet in the summer. Thank you so much.

I am unable to get Grandma's Simple Slippers pattern. Please let me know how to access the pattern. Thanks. P.S., I LOVE All Free Crochet!
