Awesome shawl. I love Premier yarn. The yarn is a very good quality yarn and it is reasonably priced. Quite often it is on sale at a yarn store near me. I have ordered from their web site directly a couple of times and they are very prompt with their delivery. This is a great pattern from their site.

I'm forever attracted to whites, off-whites, ecrus, arans of any crochet project. I cannot help but click the photo of this Crochet Shawl of Your Dreams and I'm not disappointed I did. I love the leaf design edging which has been sewn securely after the shawl is completed. Although if I want to do this at all, I would like to make the triangle longer and wider. Cheers!

It is really a shame that the edging is not right on this pattern. That is what makes this shawl so special.

The pattern for The Crochet Shawl of Your Dreams is quite impressive. When I read over the directions, I must admit I have never heard of the Crenellation Edging design. The word crenellation itself is impressive but the final results of the design are absolutly exquisite, to say the least.

Crochet Shawl of Your Dreams pattern is really messed up! The Crenellation Edging is NOT right! Pls. print correction. Not fair to spend so much time to find out patter is OFF!

Hi joydib, This pattern is from Premier Yarns and is reposted on our site with their permission. I just double-checked the pattern there, and it's identical to what's posted here. If you have any suggestions or questions on this pattern, I would suggest contacting Premier. Thank you! Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochet

Hi Gail, Thanks so much for your kind message - we're happy you enjoy our patterns. : ) Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochet

Has anyone discovered what is wrong with this pattern? I love it but it looks funny, kinda lopesided! One star because it's beautiful but not workable as is!

This doesn't work up to the look like the picture. There is no way that it looks like a triangle. What is the pattern missing?

I'm wondering if anyone found a way to work this pattern? I have tried it over and over again and it makes no sense. I added tons of rows and it just doesn't work up right. Help!!! What did others do about this.

I'm wondering if I'm doing it right, too. It's getting bigger, but now it looks like a half circle.

what does the abbreviation hk stand for in the shawl pattern shawl of your dreams ??

This means "hook". (In the Shawl, Row 1 Dc in 4th ch from hook,) I hope this helps you and the others who questioned the abbreviation.

Are we all talking about "The crochet shawl of your dreams? ) If so what does hk abreviation stand for ??

Something isn't right with this pattern. I went exactly by the pattern and my shawl is half the size it should be. Can anyone help?

Is there a correction for this pattern

What does ' 1 cluster incd' mean? I'm pretty sure I've done something wrong working this pattern as I have finished the 1st section 'Shawl', even added 5 extra rows and the top is only 24" across so far. Does anyone have any suggestions on this?
