An Easy Comfort Shawl

This shawl is so chunky and comfortable looking you can wear it as a scarf too or wrap yourself up in it for a nice long nap. A size K hook is called for.

This Easy Comfort Shawl is true to its title, it's very easy to make. The shawl predominantly used V-stitches and all crocheters know that the V-stitch is one of the easiest to do. I have done lots of scarf projects using the V stitch. You can do this in many different colors that you fancy - in vibrant solid colors, earth colors, black, white, pastels. The possibilities are endless. You can make it longer, wider, it's up to you.

I'm making mine in multiple colors with blues and tans. Very pretty, if I do say so myself.

Hi to my understanding u need 4 skins of yarn and its a wide scarf. But u could always make it smaller. I hope that helps and I print them out all the time and I don't have any problems I don't believe I'm signed in either because I just signed in to write this Kimberly

I'm not real sure but I think U have to be sighed in to get patterns to open, works for me but I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time!! :)

pattern is straightforward enough I just don't understand why they say we need Large-Eye Blunt Needles (Set of 6).

Lion Brand patterns always list needed supplies... in the amount or packaging size sold. So they list a (set of 6 - because that is how they are sold). BUT, you will only need 1 needle to sew/weave in any loose ends of yarn when finishing your product. Here's a tip: if you want to join two ends of yarn, instead of knotting or leaving loose to work in later... you can sew them together by 'sewing/weaving' one end into and through the other piece of yarn (like you were making a hem) about 6 inches ... then continue to knit/crochet as usual and clip any loose ends where joined when finished. It will make the yarn a tiny bit thicker at the join but will still make a beautiful finished product without having to deal with lots of ends later.

@sadudishes 6854314: You will need 1 ball of Fishermen's wool for this pattern (about 465 yards). Hope this helps! -- Editors of AllFreeCrochet

How much yarn is needed to make this shawl? Can't find info. on your pattern. Thanks, Sandy Stahler

Never did receive the pattern. Please take my E-Mail address off your list !!!!!!!!! Lady barb

I too am having difficulty trying to figure out whether this is a shawl or a scarf. The information provided doesn't even give measurements, or quantities of yard needed, at least not that I can see. I also wonder if this is sold as a kit? The way the items are listed, it may or may not be a kit. More clarity is definitely needed here.
