Crochet chevron patterns tend to use extremely bright colors (and they're all really cute), but sometimes you want to incorporate your favorite pattern into a more subtle hue. This Gray Chevron Easy Crochet Scarf does just that, with its calming gray tone and gentle chevron waves. This easy crochet pattern only uses three types of stitches—chain, single, and double—so you can master the chevron crochet pattern without having to jump through crazy hoops to get there. This scarf would go with so many different outfits, so it's a great project to add to your crochet fashion.

Great looking scarf! I am making scarves for Christmas and I know someone on my list who would love this. I also think I will make one for myself since I do like the chevron pattern. The directions are easy to follow. Before long you will have a nice homemade, original scarf. Thank you.

Take this scarf as a great challenge for a beginner project. Or advanced beginner. It is so much more fun creating something with interest and something that looks professionally made! Your friends and family will not believe you were able to make this yourself. I would like to add big chunky crocheted tassles on all four corners on the ends, too.

Patterns, patterns, patterns! I really like the looks of this chevron pattern right down to the way it leaves the ends of the scarf with a zig-zag edge. I'm glad it has only the three stitches in it...makes me think it's possible for me to do. It looks really soft and snuggable. It also drapes beautifully.
