To Brittany: You just might be surprised how classy your rug could look like, made from your "ugly colored" T-shirts. I have woven rugs on looms over the last 25 years. And I have always been surprised how nice a rug can look, made from strips of ''ugly'' fabric or old pieces of clothing (cut up into strips or yarns). You could try inserting white strips or yarns every once in a while.
