"With Easter just around the corner, now is the perfect time to start springtime crafts and projects.Nothing is better for Easter than a DIY project. Here is a quick, fun project to create a Bunny Mug Cozy. It is super easy and fast to whip up which can easily be made in just under an hour. Make this Easter themed bunny mug cozy for your friends and family. They are irresistibly cute and am sure everyone will love them. The pattern is worked in simple Double Crochet stitches. The Bunny Ears are made with Double and single crochet stitches. The pom pom makes up the bunny's cute tail.So overall these would also be great to make for even a beginner. Make couple of these and keep your hands dry while having your iced drinks or from burning while enjoying your hot drinks. It would be a great accessory to have all year round! I know just the family Im going to make these delightful mug cozies for. The design is very basic so its appropriate for either gender. Its quite the scrapbuster, too. Im going to go through my stash and see what colors each family member might like. I know their three year old girl must have one in pink or purple!

Ever thought about adding a crafting pipe cleaner along the edge of your ears and single crocheting around that? I think it would really give a stiff body to the ears and even make it more fun because you can shape them, one or both, as you feel like it. I also cannot help but notice that this basic sleeve pattern would make a great cuff bracelet, too! Do you see that possibility?

These mug cozies would be perfect for the beginner that wants to make an Easter item. Nothing is better than learning a new DIY project. The pattern is worked in simple Double Crochet stitches. The Bunny Ears are made with Double and single crochet stitches. A pompom makes up the bunny's tail.
