Crochet Hat Instructions
Note: This hat is made from the bottom to top.
Round 1: Hdc in the second chain from hook and in each across, sl st to the first st to join. (60 sts).
Rounds 2-3: Ch 2, working in the back horizontal bar on stitch, hdc in each st, sl st to the first st to join.
Round 4: Ch 2, hdc in each st.
Rounds 5-6: Repeat Rounds 2-3.
Round 7: Repeat Round 4.
Rounds 8-9: Repeat Rounds 2-3.
Round 10: Ch 1, sc, hdc 59, do not join.
Rounds 11-14: working in the round, hdc in each st.
Round 15: * Hdc 4, hdc dec, repeat from * around. (50 sts).
Round 16: * Hdc 3, hdc dec, repeat from * around. (40 sts).
Round 17: * Hdc 2, hdc dec, repeat from * around. (30 sts).
Round 18: * Hdc, hdc dec, repeat from * around, sl st to the first st of round to join. (20 sts).
Fasten off. Weave in ends.
