love the hat

This is a beautiful Crochet Sunlight Hat pattern, I love vintage patterns and pray this one turns out well. After reading the post below, I read the pattern and noticed there is no stitch guide. Google will be my friend on this one for help. I have 8 balls of the number 10 cotton thread and will be trying this one. Thank you for this beautiful free pattern.

not a good sample of pattern no picture of step by step how u doing like me beginners no time to go to school rely on on website i need something that really helps u step by step in means of picture detail it helps us a lot like beginners.

pattern is very hard to understand

i am an experienced crocheter but am having a difficult time with this pattern...not understanding the crochet under to the 7th round and my project looks nothing like the pic....I understand the crochet under as crochet behind previous rd in rd that correst?...thanks for any help you may be able to provide.

would be good for special events.

I think it would make a wonderful picture hat for a bride in white or in colors for bridesmaids. The pattern is absolutely beautiful!

Arlene: I believe what it should say is "repeat from *" I've noticed a few typos in this pattern as well as others. I used the pattern for the brim with another pattern for the rest. I'm trying to figure out how to post a picture...

You need to read the pattern. It calls for size 30 thread and a size 7 steel hook or 1.65mm. This definitely does not use DK weight yarn nor a 4.5mm hook.

This is LOVELY! and I look forward to crocheting it as soon as possible! It will make a wonderful garden hat- much more elegant than the (I won't even say) head protection I have been wearing. Before I start a project, I read through to get an overview of what I will be doing. I noticed a term I do not recognize and I could not find it on your stitch guide. Round 5 has "repeat fraol" Could you explain? Thank you.
