I am currently sporting dreadlocks and the adult slightly slouchy version may work for my needs. Anyone of you crafters worked the adult slightly slouchy version? If so, let me know your end results. I have a few months before I need to start this for the coming winter.

The link above to get the pattern takes you directly to the pattern. I love that the pattern is available in different sizes. I love the texture of these beanies these are too cute. They are just like little flowers. The hats are made with such a beautiful stitch. I plan to make mine using Caron yarns in an off white color and a bright color for the flowers.

The pattern is on Stacey's website, Busting Stitches. You can find it if you click on "Patterns" at the top, and scroll down to 2012, click "Candy Puffs Beanie," and click the link to the size you want. You can't print or download it, but can view it on the website. Here's the direct link (I hope) http//www.bustingstitches.com/candy-puffs-beanie/ It is also included in the "14 Free Crochet Hat Patterns" e-book mentioned above. There are a lot of ads on Stacey's web page. Be aware that they are NOT from her, and don't click on the "Download Now" or "Start Download" buttons. (It fooled me once, and it kind of acted like it had a virus attached.) Those are ads, not downloads of her patterns.

The candy puffs beanie pattern is now unavailable. The website is offline. Anyone have the pattern?

I've been making these since I found the pattern on the site about 2 weeks ago. They are so simple, easy to crochet and quick. Can make one while watching TV or Netflix for an hour. In fact, I'm about to make another :-D

where do you get the pattern haven trouble finding one please help thanks

I need to know how to make the Magic Circle, all it says is 2) magic circle, help

hold the end of your yarn between your thumb and the side of your index finger at the knuckle. hold your index and middle fingers together and stick them out. wrap the yarn twice around your fingers. then put the hook up between your fingers past the yarn wraps. catch the yarn and pull in down and out from between your fingers. (be sure to hold the cut end of your yarn while you do this). you should end up with a loop on your hook that is easy to tighten or loosen up. you may have to try it several times to get the hang of it, but it becomes easy to do pretty quickly. (hope your understood these directions. it is easier to do, than it is to describe)

To answer your question, better instructions on how to make the Magic Circle can be found on YouTube. The instructions have a problem right from the start: What is missing is the number of chain stitches that the Magic Circle itself needs for the foundation to each size of this hat. So, how many chain stitches do I create at the beginning of the Magic Circle in order to get the right hat size for a 12 month old child?

I made a couple different sizes. I need to make some more but when I go to the pattern the only size on there is newborn..what happened to the other sizes...they were there when I first went there...I am very disappointed ...they are so cute when done...

Hey there d7h1653 2637849 Thought you might find this helpful; it is the link to the 14 free crochet hat pattern book made available by this site. I have not followed the link to the pattern here, but in the pattern booklet, (2nd hat pattern) if you follow the instructions down past the infant size, you will find child and then afterwards, adult size instructions. Here you go. http://www.allfreecrochet.com/Hats/14-Free-Cro == chet-Hat-Patterns-Crochet-Beanie-Hats-and-Crochet- == Cap-Patterns/ct/1

Love this, cant wait to make it

This design looks wonderful!!! I so want to learn how to make it though. That would be nice to make, if I knew how. :)
