Beautiful colors the designer chose for the blanket. I love how the colors change and blend with each new row. This does look like our ocean waves here on the beautiful Fort Lauderdale beaches. My family room needs this blanket to complete the nautical beach dcor I have in it. I just need to make it a wee bit bigger.

Single crochets and using a double strand held together and this blanket is done. The color combination is just right! I can imagine this in the colors of the sunset- in yellow, orange, and reds. The Red Heart yarn that is used is very inexpensive and can be found just about anywhere. You could probably afford to make a few.

Thanks Michelle for the pattern and thanks for sharing the story behind the making to this baby blanket. I like the way you combine the colors, so creative and different. Thanks

As serene and as calming as the sea. This is appropriate for babies to calm them when restless and can't sleep. Here's the link to the pattern. http//www.thepaintedhinge.com/2016/03/22/ocean-wav == es-baby-blanket-free-crochet-pattern/
