Jubilee Dress

"The Jubilee dress comes in 5 total sizes ranging from 2T-age 8. This dress is worked in one pieces, with 2 very small seams. You can easily turn this dress into a top by doing less rows. A mesh detail is done around the neckline and bottom hem of the dress. The yarn I used was Paintbox yarns Cotton DK in Pistachio Green. This yarn is a light weight 3 but can easily be substituted to your liking."

This baby or child's jubilee dress is just adorable. The attention to the details on the sleeves and the hem of the dress will make this a classic. The weave on the bodice of the dress makes it so that you can not see through it but still allows a little air flow. Perfect of summer wear or with leggings and a tee shirt for winter.

First and foremost, isn't the model just adorable!? Secondly, the dress is almost as cute as the model. This is a timeless piece that could easily be handed down to other female family members when the item becomes too small for the person created for. This is a dress originally but depending on the child it could be used as s smocking or shirt when too short for a dress just to get a little more wear out of it.

What a cutie pie this little girlie is, wearing this dress and exploring outside. It looks very comfortable for her. I like the look of the sleeves- like a drop sleeve or the sleeves you find on kimonos and kimono-style sweaters. In fact, this dress would look great for a grown up too! Wear it over opaque colored tights or a slim pair of leggings.
