Fawn River Blanket
Fawn River Blanket

"This beautifully serene blanket is perfect for babies and adults alike. It has a lovely Native American feel to it so it will fit in with any kind of rustic, woodsy decor. The cable chevron creates an extra squish that becomes addictive to touch. Instructions are included for both a dishcloth to practice and a baby blanket to make. There are YouTube videos available that tell you how to create your beginning chain for any size blanket."

NotesYou can use any hook and any yarn to make this pattern. It is quite versatile. I don't have a gauge, because this pattern is customizable.

I repeat There is no pattern at this Fawn River Blanket Link. The page does not exist.... I went to Ravelry and the pattern is there but it is NOT FREE.

Hi Dorie 1612, I'm really sorry for the inconvenience. This page has been updated with the new link to the pattern. There is a paid PDF version of the pattern available, but you can now see the full written pattern for free on the blog. I hope this helps! - Laura, editor of AllFreeCrochet

Perhaps the design lends itself to a Native American "feel" but I don't see it with the colors that are used with this Fawn river blanket. The design is really pretty because of the textured design and the multiple colors. The addition of the edge shows that the designer is true to detail and provided a worthy free pattern.

There is a download at Ravelry. Click on the "Fawn River Blanket" hyper-link in the first paragraph and you will get the materials list, instructions and even a link to a video.

This is just gorgeous! Unfortunately there is NO written pattern at the above link, and even continuing on to the YouTube video, theres no written pattern there either. So youre stuck watching the instructional video and taking copious notes. Its not hard to work up but it is fiddly. In addition to writing up an actual pattern, I would change the first row to a Foundation Double Crochet instead.

Hi Jane, I'm sorry you couldn't find it. The other comment on here is correct- the link to the pdf download is in the first paragraph of the blog post. Hope that helps. Biz
