The Crochet Ripple Car Seat Cover is a baby crochet blanket that features fasteners that attach to the handle of a car seat, turning your baby blanket into a crochet canopy for your baby. When you're carrying your little baby from the car to the house or into a store, and you need to protect him or her from the rain or super bright sunshine or a harsh wind, you'll be so happy you have this crochet baby blanket. This easy ripple pattern can be quickly customized by switching out the colors in the design for colors that fit your little recipient better. Don't struggle with baby blankets that fall off in the elements, crochet your own car seat cover and rest assured that your baby is protected.

how can i get a printed copy of the car seat cover pattern

Hi kennethlabine, To access the pattern, click the link above that says "Click here for crochet pattern" - that will take you to the blogger's website with the free pattern. From there you can print the page as you'd like! Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochet

I wish I had thought of this idea when my boys were little, but then again car seats where not as nice as they are today and they were not made to be used as a carrier. Once you got that seat belted in your car you didnt dare touch it because it would take forever to put back. We had to take the baby out of the car seat and place them in the stroller. Things are way much more convenient today.
