Pineapple Fringe Crochet Dishcloth

"I almost called this pattern '29 Pineapples' instead of 'Pineapple Fringe Crochet Dishcloth.' Why? Because the cute little popcorn stitches along the border with the fringe on top add 28 additional pineapples to the one large applique in the center! Infuse a little extra happiness into your kitchen, or use as a washcloth for the bath. It also makes a great over-sized 'mug rug' or trivet! Easy to make, you’ll want to whip up a few of these as gifts to have on hand for friends, too! The extra detail of the fringe border makes them really special."

Still trying to figure this mitten pattern out. My grandmother used to make them and this one is one I found after she passed. Anyone out there who could help me with this?

Hi there, unfortunately I wasn't able to find a pattern exactly like this one. The most similar one I could find are these Wonderland Mittens: Good luck!

I love this Pineapple Fringe Crochet Dishcloth! I have been a fan of pineapples sense I've been a kid and went to SC and seen them on peoples front porch. The story behind them made me so happy, that I've loved them ever sense. Look it up, it is interesting . This dishcloth would go great with any food basket as a gift. The pattern is well done and easy to understand and follow. Love the colors she picked and I will be making this and think I'll also make some for hot cup mats. Thank you so much for sharing this great crochet pineapple dishcloth pattern.

One of the other commenters is absolutely right about funky colors on the computer. Until it was pointed out, I didnt even realize the border is comprised of tiny pineapples because the color is so off. What is supposed to be green is definitely blue on my screen. This is a clever project though, and just begs for matching coasters, doesnt it?

The cotton yarn colors are described as teal, warm brown, and tangerine. And I don't think the colors properly translate on a computer screen. I am sure the colors are much more vibrant in real life. Such an original idea to welcome a new family to the neighborhood, tucked in a basket with some kitchen hand soap, a hand crocheted scrubby, and perhaps even a set of pineapple themed coffee mugs. What do you think?

Unfortunately you are completely correct in that colors don't translate well on the computer screen. There are all sorts of technical reasons for this, which is why I like it when designers suggest specific colors of specific brands. Gives me something to match at the craft store.
