In my opinion, this is a great cowl for use to show your school spirit. College colors, high school colors, and major league teams, too! Since all you need is one skein (or two to show your team spirit) to make the cowl, it is an affordable and fun crochet project to start right now! Fall is around the corner...

The designer had me at One Hour for this cowl. Granted it does use Bulky yarn and that always helps, but this does not look like a quickie project. Now my only problem is deciding if I want to add a contrasting band like the original, or go with the solid. I actually was thinking this might look great in one of the bulky cake yarns, too. The stitch pattern is not so fussy that it needs to stand out.
