This looks soooo soft and it lays soooo prettily! I'll just bet it's super cozy too! I've never crocheted a cowl before so this'll be a first. I like the shape of the scarf and the whole idea of infinity. I looked up the Red Heart Light and Lofty yarn and there's a lovely wine color that I think will work perfectly with my winter wardrobe!

First, I want to state that people need to keep in mind all free crochet is a compilation site that looks to other websites patterns so it is necessary to link to other sites. Also, if you are clicking the right link you shouldn't have to sign up to view this pattern. Make sure that you are clicking the link that says click here to view pattern and not an ad.

The pattern that was to be free to download from allfreecrochet.com led me to another website that required I open a sign in account with a different website. Can't make it. Don't want all different sites in order to crochet something offered by allfreecrochet.

I'd love to review this pattern and possibly make this One hour Mobius Cowl. Problem is that your link takes me to a site that requires me to download a program named "downloader" (I think that was the name), but I refuse to download software from the web unless I know exactly how it will interact with my hardware and the stability of my computer. So unless you have another way for me to get this pattern, I guess I won't be crocheting this Mobius Cowl.

You don't have to download anything if you don't want. The pattern is below that. Just scroll down and copy and paste the pattern instructions into your Word program to save them. The video is there, too.

Right Click and scroll down to end of pattern. Click Copy, then open email in a new tab, and compose and paste it into a email to yourself.

This may be an EASY pattern, however trying to make it with the Red Heart Light and Lofty yarn was IMPOSSIBLE! This yarn is much too fuzzy and I couldn't distinguish where the stitiches were. I have ripped out my first rows and will donate this yarn to someone to use, perhaps in card making or scrap booking.

No. I don't think being a lefty will be a problem. The end of the first round is where you need to concentrate. Watch the entire video...that should help you.

I have no problems following it exactly as written left or right handed. I have both left and right handed students in my Kid's Club that have made this and they had no trouble either. I never change anything when I use my left or right hand, if I do I overthink it.

This is a great pattern just as it is. I have made a dozen or more of these cowls and they only take about an hour. Absolulety do not start this pattern unless you can concentrate on the first three rows. After that it is a piece of cake. I have decided to do mine in half-double stitches because I like the tighter feel of the cowl. Thanks for the great pattern it is lots of fun.

Help me out please. You don't or won't see the stitches, there is a gap...Can you please make this a little more friendly for me. I'm not at all familiar with these terms being used in crochet and I would love to make this. Thanks in advance.
