This is different as cowls go. I can really appreciate the two different design elements on this autumn winds cowl. I can imagine depending on how you wear it you can get a whole different look.

Is this not the look of Autumn? The colors are beautiful but I would have appreciated a little more orange in the mix over the mint green. To each his own though I always say. By using the infamous granny square the designer was able to create this beautiful crochet cowl. The pictures in the directions are greatly appreciated. Thanks for sharing this quality crochet pattern.

I love how the designer has mixed regular rows with the floral motif granny squares. This would be so easy to work up, and so different from the usual scarves and cowls. I think my senior ladies would love this one! I love the colors suggested by the author, but Im thinking this would look nice in other colors, too, especially if the central flower were highlighted. It still gets chilly in the Spring, too.
