Crochet Owl Candy Cane Ornament

Crochet Owl Candy Cane Ornament

The same old Christmas decorations every year can be boring. Instead of hanging up plain old glass ornaments, try working up this fun Crochet Owl Candy Cane Ornament. This little guy will look fun and festive on your tree, and when he is paired with a buddy he holds a sweet treat. These would be a cute teacher present, or an exciting gift for a classroom prize. If you're a mom with a sweet-loving child, this is a great stocking stuffer or Christmas Eve present.

So, these are cute, easy and don't take much yarn to make? I can use up some of my left over pieces. Ok, what's the catch? And the pattern is free too? If it seems to go to be true then you haven't been stopping here enough. I love them! My entire crochet catalog starts with the words, All Free...

So adorable that I had to add these to my list of saved projects. I am SURE I am going to enjoy making these this holiday season. I have several people in mind who I know would love a pair of these cute owls. Perched on those candy canes, too. I am a big fan of Lion Brand BonBons yarn. It is so sparkly and soft, not stiff. The colors are so saturated and vibrant!

These quirky little owls will light up any Christmas tree! I love this author and regularly subscribe to her new patterns. Another great stashbuster, too, if youre not trying to make matching sets. The only alteration I made was to use the small, individually wrapped mini candy canes instead of the full sized variety. I also used regular worsted in bright colors instead of the sparkle that was recommended. Worked out just as well.

im hooting about this pattern going to have a go. get hooting
