Boho Toddler Vest

By: Sierra Tosner from
Boho Toddler Vest
Boho Toddler Vest

"The airy toddler boho vest is created by alternating half double crochets and chains. I love everything boho; crop tops, flower crowns, and anything with fringe. Plus it's right on trend. Seaming pieces together and sewing in ends is the worst part of crocheting. I wanted to make the boho vest all in 1 piece. The only seams to sew together are the shoulders. If you are a beginner to crochet, a vest is the perfect 1st garment to try."

This is an adorable vest for toddlers. The designer was brave to crochet any item for a toddler in a light yarn. However, no matter what yarn you select, the wearer will appreciate the item. It is a "sassy" piece.

The stitch to make this Glenda vest is beautiful. From the directions, it appears that the pattern grows out of a diagonal. I can't wait to crochet the scarf for practice for the ultimate Glenda wrap that can be found at this link. The red is beautiful in this wrap. Thank you for the great photos.

This is so great that we can make an adorable boho style vest for a little girl using just one skein of cotton yarn! I think I would choose a pastel mint green color to accent the will give it even more of a grown up look, just like mommy! Hey, what a neat idea for a mommy and me vest.

Finally a cute vest for a title girl. I have been looking for one for some time. My grand daughter will love this done in purple or pink. She has a lot of those color pants so this will match. Paired with a white tee it will be adorable. Thank you for making this available.

This is too cute. I have seen so many patterns for adult vests like these this summer and this is the first one I have seen for a child. It looks like it would work up really quickly and it seems like it would be easy to adjust to larger child sizes or substitute the yarn if needed. I really love the stitch pattern that was used also.

I normally dont crochet a lot of toddler clothes, but I have a little granddaughter about the same age as the model. The designer states that this vest can be made with only one skein of yarn, but Im thinking it wouldnt even take that much. I signed up for the free downloaded pattern, and am looking forward to exploring this designers other offerings.

This little boho vest is too precious. The model is so cute. This is so easy to make and the total cost is only about $2 at completion. All it really takes is some time but this works up so quickly it doesnt take much of that either. I would love to see how this looks with some hippy beads hanging from the fringe.
