Binky Patrol

Binky Patrol is is an organization that makes homemade crochet blankets, knit blankets and sewn blankets for children born with HIV or other terminal illnesses or experience trauma. Those who are abused or in foster care can also get a binky. Recipients range from newborns to 18 years old. The binkies range from 3 feet up to a twin size bed.

I contribute to this organization a lot. A binky is such an easy and quick project and makes such a difference in the life of the child who receives it. I tend to whip up a binky in between each of my larger projects, cause kids need comfort the whole year round, not just during the holidays!
