The blanket created reach about 24 X 30 inches, which was worked in 2-3 sittings. However, the size and color of the can be adjusted to for it to match the style of a specific room or person. Crochet HookM/13 or 9 mm hook

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

Crochet Gauge3 sts x 1 row in dc = 1”

Finished Size24” x 30”

Materials List

  • Yarn: Red Heart with Love, medium weight yarn
  • Hook: 9.0mm

White Crochet Blanket Pattern

  1. Ch 54.

  2. Row 1: Dc in the 4th ch from hook and in each across.

  3. Row 2: Ch 3, turn, dc in each st across.

  4. Row 3: Ch 3, turn, dc * sk 1 st, (dc, ch 1, dc) in next st, sk 1 st, repeat from * to last 2 sts, dc 2.

  5. Row 4: Ch 3, turn, dc, * ch 1, dc dec using the 2 dc sts, ch 1, repeat from * across, dc in last 2 sts. 

  6. Repeat Rows 3 and 4.

  7. To finish, last 2 rows: Turn, ch 3, dc in each st across. Fasten off.
