DIY Crochet Flower Instructions

  1. Chain three

  2. In the second chain from the hook double crochet six. Be sure to stay in the same stitch for all six double crochets

  3. Slip stitch into the first double crochet that you made. You should now have a little circle.

  4. Chain 2.

  5. At the top of the double crochet you slip stitched in you double crochet three.

  6. Chain 2.

  7. Slip Stitch into that same stitch.

  8. Repeat steps 3-7 for each double crochet you created.

  9. Once you have finished crocheting all six petals, you are going to make a big loop.

  10. Cut the tail end of your yarn and pull the tail of your yarn through the loop you created.

  11. To remove the rest of the tail slip your crochet hook through two of your beginning double crochet stitches on the back of your work and pull the tail through that. From there, you can snip off the rest after you have weaved it through as many stitches as you feel comfortable to secure it.

I'm new to the crochet world. This flower may be super easy for someone who isn't new to crochet. Followed until the 2nd petal and then it was assumed I knew what I was doing. Super frustrated...
