This is just gorgeous! It reminds me of the many pineapple doilies I still have that were worked by my paternal grandmother. Sadly, shes long gone, so I cherish those tangible mementos of her diligence. This well written pattern would greatly benefit by adding some photos to help guide the crafter. Even though its a standard, not everyone is familiar with the Pineapple motif.

This is so adorable. It can be used as a bag or as a small vase. It also sort of looks like a little hat before it is stiffened. This would be so cute to use for wedding favours. You could also make them in red, gold, and silver to use for special little Christmas gifts.

A very unique item. I am always looking for the unique and unusual. Fatima and her crochetology blog are great. Love her work. I would like to make a few of these and use the suggestion of putting potpourri in them and gifting them to my girlfriends. They will love them.

Why the pineapple pattern wont show up.

Crafter - There does not seem to be a problem with this link or the site. The link will take you to the exact page that the pattern exists on. We suggest that you try the link again. Happy crocheting - Editor of AllFreeCrochet

I have tried every way I can think of and can not get the link to work!

Marilyn...when you click on the pattern and get to the "Crochetology" page....scroll down on the page and there is the pattern!

I had no problems getting to this pattern at all

I am pretty disgusted and frustrated. All I can get when I 'click here for crochet pattern" for the pineapple pouch is a picture of a bunch of flowers. Some sort of trim for towels or something. If this is a pattern for sale, you should state that. Otherwise, do not shop a pretty picture that one cannot get the pattern for!!!!!

Is there any way to get the pattern for the Pineapple pouch instead of the stuff on "Crochetology" which although it is kind of pretty, I am not interested in doing it

I think the pineapple pouch would be very pretty and fun to make if only the pattern would come through when I "click here for crochet pattern

I think that i can use that pattern to make a hat : )
