When I find a crochet flower pattern I will save it and make big plans to come back and make it, someday. When for this pattern, I am breaking out the yarn today. There are only two rows to crochet and the video was a great inspiration.

OMG! I would have not believed it if I did not see it for myself. I have completed a few projects, some simple and some that were just time consuming. I have never taken the time to really look at flower patterns but I just have to make this one today. I work from home and when I am not taking calls I will crochet. This is the perfect project for that. It does not require a lot of brain power. At the end of my shift, I know I can have at least six of these made to be ready to sew together. I got my crochet project for todays shift.

I agree that roses are a perfect stepping stone for beginners because they are basically just a crocheted strip that you wrap around and stitch together. This is a great one to start with because it uses basic stitches and is only two rows. This rose would look really pretty on a hat or handbag. You could work up several and bunch them together as an embellishment to a project.
