Poppy Flower

"Crochet a Poppy that will last all year long with this free pattern! It takes about 25 minutes to crochet and assemble each poppy flower. I used a 2.75 mm hook and worsted weight yarn to create flowers that fit in the palm of your hand. Any yarn weight and hook size will work. I'm going to use these poppies to make a flower crown just in time for Spring festival season! You could use the flowers as a bag charm or a brooch to brighten your outfit."

This easy poppy flower pattern makes a really neat looking poppy. The color is spot on but there is not indication of the color or name of the yarn that the designer used. I really love that pictures have been provided. I am a visual learner and I always do better on a project with pictures or videos.

These are some really tight stitches with this poppy design. I see that the designer used a smaller hook with that yarn so I guess that is the reason. One would have to look really close to see that these are not real because they are so life like. These are really nice.

I want to use this pattern for my senior ladies when we start meeting again in September. The project is simple enough, but Im finding that Ill have to flesh out the instructions a little before presenting this to the girls. Im also wondering if the petals can be worked differently so theres a minimal amount of sewing together. Looks like I need to start experimenting.

These are so pretty! I can't believe they only take 25 minutes. I will have to stop myself from making a million of these and adding them to absolutely everything.
