Connie Haney

Connie Haney lives in beautiful North Carolina and, she has had the crafting bug for as long as she can remember. Connie learned to sew as a teenager and even made her own Easter dress one year. With her mom’s guidance and help, it was a success. Connie's mom also taught her to crochet as a teen, but she only dabbled at afghans which would get pushed to the back of the closet and take forever to finish.

It wasn’t until 2006 when Connie's daughter was about 25 that she picked up crochet again when she made a shrug. Suddenly all things crochet just seemed to click and she had a new found love for fiber. Now, Connie designs crochet and knitting patterns and sells them at www.conicuts.etsy.com and in her Ravelry store as well as her website Bee Happy Designs.

Hi, I've been receiving "all free crochet" for some time now and have found some wonderful patterns. I found one for a very nice pansy doily. However it calls for a stitch I forgot how to make and I don't want to guess at it and mess it up. Could you refresh my memory on how to do a half treble crochet stitch. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Jen

i;m looking for a fish pattern to crochet on a afgan Can u help

Connie - I am trying to locate a particular crochet stitch. Can you direct me to sites that just show different stitches. I know how to crochet, so I don't need instructions. At one time I had such a book and from just one stitch that I learned from that book. I made a super nice afghan which my sister ( who lives in another state) has. All the patterns I had accumulated over the years, etc. were lost in a fire. Now 'm searching high and low for some of my favorites. Just between you and me, I'd rather have a hook and yarn in my hands and be busy creating. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

www.nexstitch.com is a great resource for crochet stitches

Connie, I have learned more from you than anyone. Keep up the great work.
