I love the nautical look of this belt. I am thinking black would be perfect, as it would go with every dress I wear. I am looking for different options that will spruce up the outfits I have been wearing, since I do not really have the option to buy new clothes.

Does anyone else have a problem accessing this pattern? I love the look of this nautical inspired belt, but my internet company has detected a harmful website and so it has blocked it! I think I get the general gist of it, just by looking at the pic above, but I wish I could read the pattern itself.

This is exactly what I've been looking for! I wanted a belt that was very casual but one of a kind and of course could not find anything in stores, this would be the perfect addition to my wardrobe and would spice up my dresses and shorts!

I do like this Nautical Sailor's Knot Belt. The pattern is well written and the pictures are very helpful for doing the knot. The link to the video takes you to her page and says the video isn't here.. (?). I would like to make this for my Grandson, but do have one question. How do you get the belt on and off if it is one piece? Other then that I love this.. Thank you for this free pattern.

Belts are not something I usually think of when I think of crochet projects to complete, but this belt is super versatile. I hate shopping for belts, as they almost never match the outfit I need it for, so why not make your own? This belt could be made into any colour you need and it's a simple design that doesn't take away from the pattern or colour of your clothing.
