This is very handy and makes up quickly. The directions are written very simply. You can follow along very easily. I want to make it and just carry it in the trunk of the car. That way I will be prepared for anything. Thank you for sharing this nest project.

This is a handsome market bag. With the open weave, it is the perfect bag for fresh market shopping. The color is not half bad either as it will hide dirt longer than a lighter color.

Having trouble with round 25! Is this the beginning of a decrease row? I don't understand 2 dc together if it's not in the same stitch? The photo looks like there are just double crochetson top of one another until the handle is formed.

This market bag is just what I need. I have a tendency to shop at second-hand shops and flea markets and it is wonderful to have a bag like this available. Just the other day I could have used this at the local market. The design is simple and I like the thick handle.

The moonlight market bag is a great pattern for beginners. The instructions are very concise and easy to understand and follow along. The bag has an endless list of uses and it is sized for a variety of needs. Would also look great as a beach tote for your towels and larger items.

Clearly there is no shortage of market bags out there to crochet. I so love the dark indigo color of this one. I am not learned enough to construct the base of the bag. I probably would not bother with that. I would just make sure not to put too, too much stuff in the bag. I think it looks nice to bring to the beach or pool, too.

I love bags like this except when they sag too much if I'm carrying something with any amount of weight. I made my daughter a swim bag, but with all she puts in it, the handles stretch quite a bit. These handles look like they would do better than the one I made. Do you have any suggestions for what type of yarn to use that won't sag so much?

I made one similar to this but much more difficult to crochet. I wish I had seen this sooner. When I use it at the grocery store, I always got compliments and was asked where I bought it. When I told them I made it, some wanted one for themselves. I made extra Christmas spending money on my grandkids by making them.
