Instructions

Start the bag from the bottom, it is very easy to start, use the double crochet work into it, the pattern row into the pattern of the bag. To completing the bag make the flap part, when you decrease the stitches dont make a chain 2 and 1 double crochet in each stitch, leave the last st un worked, turn your work. If you don’t decrease the stitches, continue work to the end, make the edges of the flap, I used a picot stitch, if you don't make the picot, use any other simple edging pattern.

The designer really went all out with this pattern. She lined this purse and included a zip. The colors are striking and I know I will be able to use this on a regular basis. The strap is really a cute addition to the bag.

School is almost out but I know a pre-teen that would love to have this at the start of the next school year. I believe her school colors are blue and gold so I plan to use those colors to make this for her. She appreciates all the items I made for her and this will not be an exception.

What a charming bag! I received a Chromebook for Christmas, and while it doesnt really need a protective case, I do want something to pad it when I toss it into my larger Go bag. There is something distinctly feminine about the faux rickrack trim, but its not overly so. I will definitely be using that in other places! Im not crazy about the braided strap, so Im thinking I will work a few rows of Single Crochet and add those adorable rickrack points.

This cute bag would be great as a library tote. It would be easy to grab books or drop some in because of the flap, and the strap offers some support. Not to mention it's super cute! I'd feel like Rory Gilmore.

thank u to like the bag.
