This bag is so cool looking and so colorful and bright! The black adds a bit of grounding with all the other super bright neon colors in the bag. You've got to have a little bit of black in there -) I think it is ideal for being able to find your friend or family member in a crowd of people. The main body of the bag is worked in single crochets. The effect of the zig zags are done with treble crochets worked in the third row below. Like a spike stitch. Those are fun!

Not sure about using it to find someone in a crowd, but this Mochila bag is beautiful and is such a clever design too. I am thrilled to see that the pattern is rated Easy because Mochila bag patterns always look so complicated to me that I simply move on to something else. So this one I am definitely going to give a go. Green is not my favorite color so I am going to be changing that but otherwise I absolutely love it!

Wow what a bright and colorful bag. I dont think there will be an issue spotting who you are looking for in a group if they are carrying one of these bags. So excited to see that it is made up using cotton yarns, my favorite because there are so many color choices and the yarn is just so easy to work with. Thanks for sharing this amazing bag with us.

Oh Yes, this is an amazing bag to have. I love this Colorful Mochila Bag Crochet Pattern. I want about 8 of these colorful bags to have the Grand kids uses when we go to the zoo. We always have one or two run off, or have them say can you carry this? This is a great way to see them and they can carry their own stuff. After reading the written pattern and the comments it sounds like all the bugs have been fixed and it sounds easy enough to make and follow. I'm looking forward to making this one. I love the colors and designs on this bag! I have several family members in Arizona, and this bag reminds me of some of the Native American pottery Ive seen there. Were having a family reunion in July, and Im going to make this project for a favorite cousin who just retired to Tuscon. I know shes going to just love it, too.
