Candy Corn Bear

Candy Corn Bear

From the Blogger: “Candy corn seems to be a seriously polarizing candy! Some of my friends love it while most of my family members can’t stand it. Whether you love or hate candy corn, the confection is still a quintessential Halloween treat. I’m somewhat partial to candy corn in small quantities. I was inspired by these sugary morsels to create a tiny crocheted bear (with 0 grams of sugar and 0 calories!). You can make your own little bear with this crochet pattern & tutorial. This pattern is worked in an oval. You will be crocheting around both sides of the starting chain. The finished bear is about 1.75 x 1.5 inches. It works up super quickly with only a small amount of yarn. You can use it as a decoration by your candy bowl or make a bunch to give as Halloween party treats.”

Teddy bears are a timeless toy. No matter how they are made or what color is used, they are always wonderful to have. I love candy corn during the fall/Halloween time of the year and this would be a great addition to the decor of the time.

This adorable tiny bear got a great big Awww from my husband when I showed him the finished project. This tidy little scrapbuster would make a cute pin, or attach it to a keychain or zipper pull, or even just something silly to tuck into a childs pocket. If you dont have the beads, you can embroider the features like I did. I just love this one!

This is going at the top of my to do list. I have four grand kids so I am alwYs looking for cute quick fun things to make for them. I have all that I need, including safety eyes since I make a lot for those little people. But mine will be done in Christmas colors.

What I like about this tiny bear amigurumi is the versatility. All you have to do is change up the colors to represent any seasonal holiday of your choice. Pick red and green for Christmas, blue and silver for Hanukkah, red and pink for a Valentine's, and the list goes on. A brilliant little cute bear!

These are such awesome ideas! I'm modifying one of my Halloween bear patterns into a very cute Christmas bear plush. I hadn't thought to do different colored stripes but I'll have to try that out! I think a Valentine's day bear with pink and red would look especially cute.
