Hi I am making this adorable poodle now,and enjoying seeing it come to life. I am finding the pattern relatively easy. Because we don't have pompadoodle yarn in Newzealand, I have managed to get my niece in America to get it for me, which I am so grateful, she is a lifesaver. I have made a lot of patterns off 'hooked on crochet sites', I really swear by them. Thanks also for putting videos up on steps on how to crochet this cute wee poodle. Many thanks, Raewyn Donald.

How do I get the pattern. It says its FREE but when I click on "Get the Pattern" I can't find it

Hi Jojosubrbo You may want to try again to get the pattern. When you click on the link now, the pattern displays. I always open links in a new window so I don't lose the page the link is on.

Kids, nothing! I want to make it for myself! I've not tried to make an animal or doll yet, so this one may have to be my first.

Same as all the rest of the comments below! Yes I definitely would! How could anyone NOT like this dog? Even Cat lovers should! GoofyNanna

I would definitely crochet this puppy...Absolutely adorable.

Too Cute! My granddaughters would love this!

I would make this. I think it would be a great gift for a little girl.

This is precious, but I wouldn't make it. I just wish you had one similar in a kitty, all my children have cats and the Grandkids love the cats. I would like to find a bed/cuddle kitty, do you know of any??

yes I would make this pink poodle for my grandkids because I think it is so cute and I know my grandkids would love it.

I have lots of grandaughters and this just looks like it would be something that they would like. Gifts for next year at Christmas.

That is really cute! I would definitely make this for a little girl's gift. When I make an afgan for a coworkers baby, I always make a toy to match the afgan. My coworkers can't wait to see what I will make for their new baby!

this is super cute! I consider myself mostly a beginner, but I want to try it!

I made this for my niece who is 5 as a Christmas gift and she absolutely loved it! It turned out nicely considering I'm not proficient with crochet. This Christmas was my first for homemade gifts.

I have this pattern bookmarked to make for my granddaughter when she is a little older. she is only 2 now. I love this pattern and can't wait to make it.

If I was shown how to make this I would make it for my neice.

I probably would but I would crochet it to my moms poodles colors

It's not for me: I have very different dogs and am not into this kind of stuff. Probably not all that easy either, but that wouldn't bother me.

I made two of these as Christmas presents and they turned out to be the favorite gifts of all for my 5y/o granddaughters. It was tricky using the pompom yarn and a challenge to find it!

I made this but it was pretty tricky working with the yarn. It turned out pretty nicely however once I got finished with it.

No, wouldn't make this - hideous ;-)

Yes I will probably make this adorable pink poodle. I have a 6yr old granddaughter and if she sees this pattern ..I will have to make it.

No, I don't do toys. It is a cute one though!

I absolutely love love love this. I would definitely make it however I am very new to crocheting, just a beginner. I have 9 grandchildren that I am looking for something like this to make for them for next Christmas. Sure wish I was able to make this. It is by far the cutest crocheted animal I have seen yet. Adorable.

I really fell in love with this one I intend to make one for my great grandaughter and of course one for my self I don't make things like this very often but thiss on is just too cute not too.

I made this for my great niece for Christmas. She is 2 and she loved it. I may make another one for me. It's adorable.

Absolutely I would make this, it's just adorable! I'm going to gather what I need for it and get started, only using blue, I have a new great grandson arriving early in Feb. Just toooo cute!

yes i would crochet the pink poodle, but I am a beginner, easy crochet person as of now....I have a pattern for the butterfly dish cloth what does ri rst mean? I cannot figure out how to get the loops made, any help would be appreciated...

I made this for my granddaughter who thinks pink is the only color there is. She adored it.

I am making it now! It is awesome. And very forgiving if you are new to crocheting. So don't be scared to try it. Don't get too hung up on counting how many stitches are in your round when you are making any of the tube parts (body, back of head, etc.) as long as it is looking like the right shape. I only have one more ear to make and then put it all together :) I have the body put together and it is really cute! :) I made it teal and purple just for the fun of it. :)

This is so cute! I did save the pattern and I can't wait to try it. I have 3 nieces that would LOVE this little puppy, let alone me :) .

I love it and my 5y/o daughter simply adores it. YES I wpould for sure make it, just for her

It looks a little like a dog I used to have. It's really cute, and I'd make it for my great-granddaughter.

The poodle is adorable! I would gladly make this, and will, as soon as I improve my skills a bit.

This is adorable. I would make it as a gift for a child or an adult. Fifi would make anyone smile, young or old.

I love this poodle! I am just starting to re-learn crochet after many years, and this will be one of my early projects! Thank you!

I love making prim dolls of all sorts. This adorable poodle will be sitting next to one of them. I know I will make a lot more than one because I could crochet the trim in colors to match season or events. Thank you

I would make this

It's definately on my to-do list. I love it

I think this poodle is adorable and would love to make it for my granddaughter. However, I have had trouble following the instructions for the body, particular for the leg openings. The holes don't match up for me. Can anyone help me figure this out?

I made this for my 24 year old daughter for her birthday 3 years ago and it is favorite pattern that I have been asked to make over and over. Can't go wrong for young and old!!

I would love to make it, but for me to make it I will need a little more practice making non-flat things! Learning to increase and decrease a little more. Adorable for just about anyone that likes to cuddle with animal or friend - especially the non-furry type.

I think this is adorable as a toy or a decoration for a teen's room. I'd make it!

This is so cute! I am going to make an entire litter!!

I think toys like this would be great for hospitals.

I made this for my sister-in-law's little sister. It turned out SO cute!

I made this for my sister-in-law's little sister. It turned out SO cute!

I think this is so adorable. I have a grand daughter turning 4 in March and lately she has been enamored with a game that does grooming with prissy dogs. This would be perfect for her and in fact, I am going to make it for her!

I would make that if someone asked me, for a specific purpose. I would not present it as a gift, since taste is subjective. A lot of love & work goes into these projects & I'd hate to see any of it go to waste if it went to someone who didn't love it. Take orders for it instead.

How precious! Bet these would sell like "hot cakes" at a church bazaar!

Yes, yes, yes! This is adorable! I can't wait to get started!

I love this but tried to do it and for an average crocheter I just don't understand the pattern. Was hoping to be able to do the follow along last year but they never completed it.

omg this pattern is super cute!

I made the pattern with a pink variegate instead of the solid and also made a hoodie and used the left over yarn to trim the hoodie around the wrists, bottom and the hoodie. It was an easy pattern to make

Soooooo cute!!!!!!!!!! even though i have 20 other un-finished crochet projects, I'm still going to try this cutie!!

Does anyone can help and tell me about the rows 15-23? Where should I put the hook in each chain? and sc around from where to where? Hope somebody could help me.Thank you very much. Maikaew

Hello,I'm a new crocheter.Thank you very much for the awesome pattern.Just confusing the row 15-23: Sc in each chain(in the 8 chains from back loop or front loop or where?) and sc around(around where?).Thank you very much. Maikaew

You can buy this yarn at Roberts arts and crafts on line. I found this place last summer, and they have every color of yarn there is. They are in Utah, (wish they were in Illinois). Just type in Roberts crafts and it will pop up. Very good service.

OMG!!! How ADORABLE!!! I cannot wait to crochet this.

I was so excited when I found this pattern. I made one of differenct colors for my 3 grand daughters. This pattern is easy even for the beginner. I found the pompa-doodle yarn at Michael's. Unfortunately they didn't carry the solid colors but they have a nice selection. Before finishing one of legs I used a lighter shade-then back to the original shade making it look like the cuff of a sock above the pompa-doodle yarn. Yes! I agree, I found the yarn but I don't want to pay $7.00 for shipping when the yarn itself cost less. Anybody out there to help us....? Help

Tell me too! I have been to JoAnne Fabrics & Hobby Lobby. They are not even sure what I was talking about. Michaels has it but not the pink one. This is making me crazy! I want to join the crochet along but do not want to pay almost $7.00 for shipping for one $4.99 skein of Pomp-a-Doodle. Help!

please tell me WHERE TO GET THE POMP-A-DOODLES? WOULD LIKE TO MAKE THIS LOVABLE DOLL !! LIKE NOW TELL ME QUICK THANKS PHYLLIS
