I JUST WANT TO KNOW HOW MANY PIECES IT TAKES TO MAKE A KING SIZE WEDDING RING QUILT, I HAVE THE PATTERN BUT NOT HOW MANY PIECES IT TAKES TO MAKE A KING SIZE QUILT. THANK YOU, RUTH DORTCH.

This is a very nice idea for a wedding present. I am a traditional, old fashioned lady and my parents had things from their wedding 63 prior. I would love giving a newly wed couple something for them to keep like that roo. Thanks for offering something that will be kept fir years to come.

What a perfect sentiment. I really had to read all of the post. At first I thought these were gifts for the guests as there was a wedding invitation attached. Then as I read over the post I determined the wedding blanket is for the couple as a memento for the day. This is beautiful.

We that love to crochet can find a reason to make something to commemorate the day. Wedding blankets are probably not new but this one is truly beautiful. I will remember this for the next wedding that I will attend. They couple may get blankets but not one like this one.

This blanket is quite traditional in design. If you like this sort of thing, you will probably really enjoy making this. I am not a traditional girl, but I am a crochet and art girl, and I can truly appreciate the artistry that has gone into the making of this pattern/afghan. Even though it has the special trim with flowers and curly cues hanging down, the bulky yarn used for the body of the blanket will cut down on your time in making it.
