Tender Delilah Crochet Cowl

Tender Delilah Crochet Cowl
Tender Delilah Crochet Cowl

"An organic cotton cowl makes a great splash-of-color accessory for year round accessorizing. I chose color Daffodil to wear with a long sleeved denim shirt and long flowy maxi skirt or white jeans. This is a simple stitch pattern repeat with chain, single crochet and double crochet stitches in a pattern that offsets every 5 rows for a 10 row repeat. The stitch repeat is 8 plus 3, meaning you increase by a factor of 8 to increase the width, and then add 3. For example, this cowl is 5 repeats of the pattern: 8 x 5 = 40 + 3 = 43"

NotesThere is a 2 part video tutorial for this project, and it also comes in 3 ways: right hand, left hand and slower for beginners. Watch all 6 videos at Kristin's YouTube Channel, or embedded into the free pattern page.

My first thought when I seen this Tender Delilah Crochet Cowl was wow I so want one! Made with organic cotton this cowl will be great for all season! I like that there is videos and pictures to help you with this cowl project. I am going to look for a natural color cotton yarn to make this one. This pattern would even make a nice looking top. I'm looking forward to doing this one! Thank you so much for this free crochet pattern.

This is a really lovely item that looks pretty easy to do. Is it a one size fits all item? And is this for both warmth and to accessorize or is it more for accessorizing? It does seem like a great alternative to a scarf and would be lovely in so many different colors.

I love cowls. Theyre quicker to work up and dont drag on the ground or get caught in car doors. This is a lovely, lacy design that repeats after Row 10, so its very easy to work up. The designer gives a chart as well as row by row photos and instructions. Theres also a downloadable .pdf and a two-part instructional video.

This cowl is made in such a unique color, and I also love the lacy look of it! It looks like the perfect weight for the warmer months. I could see myself wearing it all the time!
