This is the cutest little thing. I know a little girl who would love to get thus. I read the directions and it is what it's rated, easy. It's basic stitches that even a beginner should be able to do. My change may have to be the color. I think pink or purple would be perfect.

This pattern is not a new one. I see that it was originally posted on her blog way back in 2012. That really doesnt matter though because items like this are timeless. They dont look dated as of yet and are still usable as a modern day accessory. The buttons are customizable too. So I plan to have fun with those.

There is no pattern here- at the Kawaii Bear Phone cosy"- just ads

Hi jsmorris, Actually, there was at the time of initial posting. Now there's actually a link out to the pattern source so if you follow that you'll see the pattern. :) I've actually updated the link above to be more direct, though. Enjoy! Julia, AFC editor

This would make an adorable gift for my teenage granddaughters, but I truly wonder how long the phones would actually stay in the case. Those girls never seem to be off of them! I love the sweet face, but I would definitely change the eyes. Hes too cute for that particular kind of button. Im thinking either crocheted rounds or plain black buttons.

I am finding the most unique and cute projects on this site today. This bear phone cozy is just so incredibly cute. I love the design and the bloggers pictures are gorgeous. This is such a great tutorial and so easy to understand. I want to customize mine to make a pink bear.

I would love to add a little strap or something to this to make a little clutch for when I go to concerts or something, so I don't have to bring my entire bag. So cute!
