I love clutch bags. I think they are very elegant and feminine. This is a great base to make any style. Plain and every day of all dressed up and ready to party. The directions are super easy. Any one can make it.if you don't want a zipper, make a loop and button cl ose.

Ive seen several of these zippered pouches lately, so I was curious to see how this designer sets her zipper. Since she works the pouch itself in the round, I figured that she had to do it by hand. Im really of two minds when it comes to this method. To me, this is much more difficult than working two flat pieces and sewing the zipper between the two sides.

The Arlo Zipper Pouch has got it goin' on! I do like the neutral ivory color, but I am telling you this- try and make a couple in some of the more fashion colors and you probably will be thanking yourself for the extra time and effort. It is something that every girl needs in her life whether you are an artist, a mom , a student, or a young lady, this pouch is everything. I cannot believe it is so easy to make. I also think it is cool how you chain for the base, then work back around the other side of the chain before you begin working in the round.
