Christmas Wreath Crochet Gift Topper

Christmas Wreath Crochet Gift Topper
Christmas Wreath Crochet Gift Topper

It's one thing to give a beautifully wrapped present to a loved one, but adding this Christmas Wreath Crochet Gift Topper will take the gift to the next level! This Christmas crochet pattern will be the perfect finishing touch to any gift and could even be used as an ornament.

From the blogger: "I began holiday crafting early this year! This tiny Christmas wreath is my first completed project of the season. I’m using mine as a gift topper. I love how simple it looks on top of kraft paper with neon baker's twine! I made wool felted balls to attach to my wreath. You could always opt for pom poms, beads, ribbon, or anything else you happen to have on hand to decorate your own crocheted Christmas wreath!"

I have seen a few Christmas Wreath crochet ornaments or gift toppers while surfing for holiday gift decor. I really like this one because it is made up of individual leaves. I do not believe it will be any more complicated to make, it just comes out looking a lot more tailored. Thanks for the pattern.

Can you see the detail in the design? This project will require a little more effort but the end result will be well worth it. I think I will use a little darker color green and perhaps mix it up with some red or white berries. I may even use seed beads for the berries. Beautiful mini wreath.

This is so cute and I love the white berries instead of red. That's mistletoe ! I want to make a bunch for the tree too. I have four little grand kids and I can always use Unbreakable ornaments on the tree. Just in case little hands get into them. Thank you.

This Christmas wreath ornament and gift topper has a very festive look to it. The concept is to make twenty four leaves and then stitch them together to form the wreath you see in the picture. I personally am not a big fan and stitches pieces together. Would hot glue work just as well for this project? Has anyone made this and glued them together instead of sewing them?

Stitching each leaf together was so tedious. Someone borrowed my glue gun so I'm not able to test out that method. I think it should work! You'd probably get a similar looking result in 1/4 of the time. Let me know if you try it!
