Christmas Tree Pillow

It may seem a bit simple, but the Christmas Tree Pillow is an easy crochet pattern that you can use every year. This throw pillow is a great decoration for the holiday season. Every household needs a Christmas Tree Pillow for those nights in front of the fire. The evergreens are strong trees and this pillow will remind that getting through the winter is tough because of the cold but it's doable. This pillow will probably be a keepsake for generations after you make it.

I am looking for a nice collection of holiday themed toss pillows to make as a gift for my mother. This tree is classic country and it's so right for her. I do not normally follow with graphs, but it seems simple enough- actually this might be easier to follow- . I can see making a pair of these, one in gold and green and one in gold and red.

I'm looking to add to my winter decor and this will fit right in! I hadn't thought about adding "tree ornaments". I also like it plain so I guess I'll just have to make one each way. You ladies on here are sooo creative. I do like the idea of making it with ecru and pine green. I think this does indeed smell of pine!!!

What I like about this pattern is that you can keep it plain and simple as designed, or you can attach embellishments to the tree to decorate it. I actually prefer the plain look as the pillow could be used year round. This would be especially nice for someone who has a rustic cabin or loves that kind of dcor. You can almost smell the pine!

I really like the look of this Christmas Tree pillow. It is simple and does not scream Christmas. The green color is concentrated in one area, so it makes changing colors a little easier. Not a lot of little color changes. I like the colors of this particular pillow, but I could also see using ecru and green.

Do you have any crochet cushion pattern made with crochet tread?
