Amigurumi Crochet Santa Claus

With Christmas coming up and gift ideas running low, what better way to impress your friends and family than with something homemade? An Amigurumi Crochet Santa Claus is just the thing you need for the holidays. This adorable little guy would look great in a Christmas scene on your mantel, or in a Christmas village in his own sleigh. A Crochet Santa Claus would also be a cute ornament, or a fun stocking stuffer from Santa, himself! What better way to leave a mark than to leave a miniature version of him behind to play with?

This designer has created some of the sweetest little amigurumi around. Ive worked several of her patterns and Im looking forward to working on Good St. Nick here. The instructions are very well written and illustrated using a series of photos. She also details how to make a small pompon using cardboard. I have a complete set of pompon makers, but if I didnt, Id add a commercial pom instead of making one.

With my busy schedule it's never too early to start thinking about the holidays. I keep a big box in the back of my closet that I put items all year as I finish them. That way there isn't a panic come December. I think making one of these for every family member would be perfect. Maybe embroider their name on it and place it in their stocking.
