Bev, hello! I'm not certain if someone has attempted this "corrected" pattern yet. I have tried this pattern about 6 times now and it just doesn't seem to look right. One side is straight and even, and the other ends up with rounded corners. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I've followed the directions exactly including the "red" corrections. Thank you )

Hi Susan, I'm sorry I didn't answer sooner but I didn't know this pattern was linked here with a place to ask questions. I am so grateful that you posted your question because, there were all kinds of problems with the way I worded it and typed it up and I apologize for that! I have reworked it, and worded it totally differently. Made changes in RED that I hope will help everyone. Bev of bevscountrycottage.com

Bev, I tried and tried to get this pattern to work. I am an experienced crocheter and completed many items that would be rated advanced. I do not usually have any problem following crochet instructions. I could not get this one to work. I think there is a problem with the end of rows 2 and 3. I know that I could figure out how to make it work, but curiosity is killing me on this one. Can you check this pattern and see if possibly there is a misprint in directions. Thanks Susan Johnsonbr
